Check out the 7th grade Bunraku Puppet Project using found objects. “Bunraku is an ancient Japanese dramatic art form of puppetry. It involves three puppeteers operating a single intricate puppet with lifelike movements," says Rachel Prouty, SHS middle school drama teacher. "In this exercise, the students used the technique of found object puppetry to create their own Bunraku puppets. They then manipulated them with the help of some assistants from home to bring their puppet creatures to life." #shsdrama #bunraku
