Once you park (pay parking and entrance fee) you will embark on a 1/2 mile trail that is reasonably flat. It can get pretty windy and could be so windy that you feel the sand hit your face and body. When the wind came we put RexSpecs on Ziggy to help avoid the sand into her eyes. Or if we didn’t have time to put them on her we would just stop and cover her eyes until the wind stopped.
