Weekend race report time with the Collier 100K crew and Maddie's Iowa mile... From clawrence27: The first third was smooth and exactly to plan. Second third was dark, unknown, and hot. I ran out of fluid and couldn’t remember how far until the next aid so it was a game of get the next aid and remind myself I’d done a really good job fueling to that point so not to panic. The last third was rocky, more technical and still so hot. Kept telling myself this is how it feels right now and you don’t know what’s happening it front of you or behind you so just keep moving. The crew & pacer moral boost was huge! The coco tiger power suit also felt like a moral boost all around. Every crew stop and people we’d see on trail were stoked on it.
