A former New Haven endocrinologist Dr. Burton Caldwell is accused of using his own sperm to inseminate his patients without their knowledge.  They were told they were being inseminated with the sperm of young, healthy medical students but that's not what they got. It went on for decades. Attorneys have no way of knowing how many are out there -- even Doctor Caldwell doesn't know as it was too many to count.
