Appa Volunteers, more commonly known as Appa, is a domestic service-immersion program focusing on under-served populations in the United States. Participants learn, through discussion, action, and reflection, about the structural realities that leave communities across the country marginalized. Appa groups travel coast-to-coast, serving and living in solidarity with the families they serve. Each year, nearly 400 students visit 32 cities in the US and we're grateful for the community partners that welcome our groups with such generosity and heartfelt care!
