In his 2022 season, Wegner made the ALL-BIG EAST First Team from being the 6th best batter in the BIG EAST. In the 2019 season as a freshman, Wenger was a part of the ALL-BIG EAST Second Team with a .340 batting average with 17 hits. Wenger has finished the 2022 season with a .348 batting average.
