#AcademicAwards | Congrats go out to outgoing seniors... middle hitters KRISTA HASLAG (Linn MO, left) & GRACEY MOON (St. Louis MO, center) as well as defensive specialist DANA SHANNON (Chicago IL) for being named to the 2016 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Council of Presidents’ Academic Excellence Award. The recipients of the award exemplify the outstanding student-athletes in the GLVC. Each honoree has exhausted their eligibility in their intercollegiate sport and maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average throughout their academic career. The three completed their time with #MinerVB this past fall. Haslag played four years for the Miners, while Moon & Shannon played three seasons after transferring from Westminster & Newman respectively. Moon & Shannon also graduated in May, while Haslag will graduate this coming December.
