CONGRATS to junior middle hitter KRISTA HASLAG (Linn MO) for being named Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team for the second consecutive year. Haslag has started and played in every set this year and leads the Miners in kills (279), kills/set (2.74), attack pct (.331), total blocks (112) and blocks/set (1.10). She ranks second in the GLVC in total blocks, third in hitting percentage, fifth in blocks/set and 14th in kills. Haslag also ranks 14th amongst the national leader in total blocks. She is a two-time All-GLVC selection, was the GLVC Co-Freshman of the Year in 2012 and a third team AVCA All-American as a freshman. Haslag is majoring in civil and architectural engineering and is also a two-time Academic All-GLVC honoree. This selection makes her eligible for Academic All-America honors.
