Our first spotlight for Islamic History Month is Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir. If you have not heard of Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir (bilqisabdulqaadir), here is a little about her and some of the amazing work she has done for the Muslim community everywhere. Bilqis has been living in Canada for the past three years and a few days ago, we learned that her job as an Athletic Director at an Islamic School in London, Ontario did not meet the Canadian Immigration and Permanent Residency requirement. Bilqis has inspired so many young girls and Muslims across Canada and we pray that the Canadian Citizenship and Immigration (citimmcanada) reconsiders their decision.
