When Chicago interior designer meghanjaydesign’s client bought their new home, they fell in love with many of the existing features but wanted to update things to blend these elements into their style. They asked Meghan to develop a scheme that balanced the formality and traditional feel of the custom chandelier that we designed for the previous homeowner by adding more modern elements. She designed a custom pedestal dining table, made from solid walnut, to bring a bit of edge to the space and paired the table with minimalist chairs. These pieces, along with the stunning panoramic wallpaper and modern art, complement the fixture beautifully while catering to the new owner’s design sense. We love hearing these stories because our goal is to create lighting of exquisite craftsmanship and lasting beauty that can be kept and enjoyed for generations of owners.
