#FBF to Earth Day 2016 when world leaders gathered in the iconic
#UnitedNations General Assembly Hall to sign the
#ParisAgreement on climate change. Representatives of more than 165 countries signed the historic document at UNHQ in
#NYC on 22 April 2016, breaking the record for the number of signatories on the opening day of any international treaty.
Since then, almost 200 countries have signed on to tackle the climate crisis together.
"We have only one Mother Earth," UN Secretary-General antonioguterres said on Friday's
#EarthDay. "We must do everything we can to protect her."
The climate emergency can seem daunting, but we have the solutions to solve this crisis, and all of us can do our part - from reducing and recycling waste to driving less, to choosing zero-waste fashion.
