On a recent shoot with montanafwp I came back to Bannack after dark to experience one of the darkest nights I’ve had in a while. I was glad my buddy tastysap came with me, as it was so unbelievably silent, no birds, no insects, no wind… just darkness amongst the old buildings. Bannack is one of the most underrated spots in Montana, and I am kicking myself for not having come back sooner.
