TUTU TUESDAY // Our dancers are taking a well-deserved summer break, but that doesn't mean the #TutuTuesday fun is over! Do you know how a tutu is made? Making a tutu is a highly technical process that takes approximately 60-90 hours from start to finish. Typical tutus are made with over 100 yards of tulle, a stiffened silk, nylon, or rayon fabric, with up to nine supportive layers and a tenth decorative top layer. Tune in every Tuesday this month for fun facts about our tutus. 📷 by gabriellorena.photos
