Mahalo to everyone for attending today’s blessing of the former Big Save space renovation at the Līhu‘e Civic Center. During my time as mayor, this was one of the most significant days of my administration. My family operated Big Save in this space for many years, and I spent many hours working there. This place is near and dear to my heart, and it fills me with joy knowing that this renovation is the first step to helping shape the future of our island – our keiki.
