🌍🌎🌏 It's #worldbuildingwednesday 💜💜💜 - 🐚This Wednesday, I started giving my Selkies some more love--doing visual and cultural development on them. Right now, there are four kinds of selkies, identified by their skins--Tusked, Furred, Coral, and True Selkies (based on real different types of seals!) If you don't know what a selkie is, they're people who use seal skins to turn into seals and are often caught between love of land and sea--a bit like the Little Mermaid but WITHOUT the "dissolving into sea foam" bit. Usually. My selkies are really just another subrace of humans and have the culture of wherever they go, but I want to develop their seal-side a little more!
