Last week, we had an incredible experience at Oracle Park, home of the sfgiants. We were invited to explore the park’s accessibility features, and from batting practice to checking out the iconic Willie Mays statue, the park offers an unparalleled experience for everyone. The accessibility sections blew me away—whether you’re in right field, enjoying the shade, or sitting in the on-field box seats, the options are endless. Speaking of the on-field box seats, these were a game-changer. Typically, wheelchair users don’t get to sit this close at other stadiums. Here, you’re right in the action! In honor of #DisabilityPrideMonth, I’m sharing this to highlight how Oracle Park goes above and beyond with in-game captioning, assistive listening devices, and sensory-inclusive accommodations.
