3D Printer Enclosure made in our Digital Design & Manufacturing Class!⠀ ⠀ Repost from explosivewoodworks ⠀⠀ Another thefabschool project almost complete! This is an enclosure for a 3D printer. Having an enclosure is important to help regulate the ambient temperature to help prevent parts from warping. Especially the nylons infused with carbon fiber. We still have to cut the acrylic windows/doors and finish 3D printing the hinges but this portion of the enclosure is made from .063” aluminum 5052. All parts cut on the amadaamericainc CNC laser and bent on the Amanda CNC press brake.
