From teachingthetinies: I’ve been going BATTY with things feeling “ordinary & routine” lately so today I switched it up & themed our entire day around bats. 🦇 ⁣ ⁣ Normally I would go all out, decorate the room, create bat centers for the littles to rotate to, etc—but this year it was much simpler. We read a few bat books, our normal activities had pictures of bats on them & the littles thought that was so cool 😆, and we watched an informational video on bats to end our day together.⁣ ⁣ I figured the littles wouldn’t be terribly impressed since it wasn’t an extraordinary room transformation but all day long I heard “This is the best day of my life!” 💛⁣ ⁣ Truly, it’s the little things.
