Growing up, I didn’t realize so many people thought girls were incapable of things boys were capable of. It’s not what my household believed or what my parents told us girls. . I played littleleague baseball with all the boys. jessieholder9 & I were the only two girls on our team. The boys, our teammates, were just that, teammates. We were just as valuable to our team as they were and more than capable of being the type of players that made our team better; that made our team the best team in the league. . Now, as I lead jenschrocatching & travel with thepackageddeal I am proud to spread that message: GIRLS ARE CAPABLE. (We are so much more than that, but I’m keeping it simple here). Really, I want society to recognize, to understand, that gender shouldn’t be a competition. Gender doesn’t define capabilities or value. .
