Focus on the color of light with this year’s BMW ART MAKERS Program, ‘The Green Ray’ 🟢 The BMW ART MAKERS program returns for its third year with winning artist and curator duo Mustapha Azeroual and Marjolaine Lévy. Evoking the rare optical phenomenon of the green ray of light explored by artists like Jules Verne and Marcel Duchamp, ‘The Green Ray’ offers an immersive experience highlighting what the human eye cannot see. The installation will envelop visitors in an airlocked space activated by abstracted colour gradations, engaging viewers’ senses above and beyond their knowledge of art. “[BMW ART MAKERS] provided us with the financial resources that are increasingly rare in contemporary art. Being able to stage an exhibition in several places is exceptional,” says Marjolaine Lévy.
