It was quite a weekend for our Senior Ultimate and Youth Premier teams at The Groove Experience Grand Nationals in Pigeon Forge, TN. Along the way in a looooong two days of competition, we acquired: 1) Queen Slay…and her special carrier so she wouldn’t miss a moment of the action and Coach KP could experience hands-free parenting 😉 2) Remy rockin’ the eyelashes and dancing on the speaker (give him the right music and that rat can dance) 3) Various injuries sustained by the coaches due to excessive jumping & screaming during routines (we didn’t even know Coach Mistie could jump at all) 🤣 4) That last Summit bid for lyrical that had eluded the Premier team up until now 6) The soothing of souls that only the Great Smoky Mountains can provide 7) A greatly expanded vocabulary (or just the ability to say to each other with simply a look, “What the heck does that even mean?”) 8) Some medals & banners (not the ones we’d worked for, but hey, life’s rough - get a helmet and get back in the ...
