#TestingTuesday UC Santa Cruz students, staff and faculty can get tested for COVID-19 on campus for free. If you’re living on campus, you are required to be tested twice a week however if you are a student living off campus you can be tested once a week to check your status and keep our community healthy. Testing is free regardless of insurance. This is a DIY test—simple swabbing right inside your nose, not way up in your sinuses. And it's quick—30 seconds. You must make an appointment with the student health center to be tested. Testing by appointment is ONLY for those who are not showing symptoms. If you have a fever, sniffles, headache, fatigue or any other COVID-19 symptoms you must call the health center first to make arrangements to be tested.
