🗳Why We Vote🗳 "Growing up I was always taught the importance of voting by learning about those who sacrificed so much for me to do so. I’m honored to be able to complete my civic duty to vote as I’m aware of the privilege it holds. Especially with the threat of voter suppression silencing the voices needed most, I make sure to vote for those who are hindered from being able to do so. As a lifelong learner, I’m continually trying to educate myself on the perspectives of others to determine what’s best for the welfare of all people. Inclusion and representation is what makes a strong democracy. So in addition to voting, it’s also important to participate in local grassroots organizations to better serve whatever community you’re in. Contributing your time and energy toward the values you believe in lead to the dismantling and ultimately abolition of oppressive systems."
