With this in mind, I hope to gather a better understanding on how neurological diseases transform the experiences and bodies of individuals and their families. I may also address how brain-centered notions of personhood are linked to neurological disease and how those notions impact non-brain-centered communities." — Jaleel Plummer (Merrill) is the 2018 recipient of the Ryan Huemman Award and an anthropology major.
