#SUMMERSPOTLIGHT 💎☀️ Our next summer spotlight is on rising junior Isabela Arcila (AC ‘21) who stayed in Nashville this summer to work as a research assistant in the Object Perception Lab at Vandy. Isabela is also living with three sisters this summer, Avery Elisa and Amanda (all also AC ‘21)! Avery is working in two VUMC research labs, Elisa is working in a biomedical engineering research lab, and Amanda is working in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and one of our favorite restaurants, Taco Mama! About her research, Isabela said: “Working in a research lab over the summer has been a dream of mine since high school and I’m happy to say I finally made it! We’re working on really cool projects in the lab, everything from how we distinguish between objects like faces and cars to differences in amygdala volume to twin studies. I excited to see what kind of results all the studies reveal and what new questions we come up with.” I’m also living with three sisters for the summer!...
