Freshman guard Kenyon Giles is lighting it up for Radford so far this young season, playing over 30 min per game. Last night the Highlanders almost took down power-5 Notre Dame in South Bend (76-79), behind Giles' 20 point performance.
Giles is averaging 17.5 ppg and shooting 41% from 3pt range. The Highlanders and Kenyon will be a fun team to watch in the Big South this season.
Giles played at Oscar Smith High in Chesapeake, Virginia and as a sophomore was named second team all-state, first team all-Region 6A, and first team all-Southeastern District.
Kenyon later attended Silverado High School in Las Vegas, averaging over 20 ppg and 4 assists his senior year, before committing to Radford.
