Watch out Denver Karens are out this summer ☀️ A woman upset over children skateboarding at Denver’s Confluence Park was filmed chasing, grabbing, and shoving the young boys. Before the video began, witnesses and a Denver Police Department incident report state that the woman threw an eleven-year-old boy’s skateboard, belonging to Charleston Davidson, into the South Platte River. This altercation occurred on the evening of Friday, June 28, in Shoemaker Plaza, near the flagship REI store. The incident started when the woman asked the boys to stop skating, claiming it was “upsetting” her, although no signs prohibited skateboarding in the area. She alleged that “a skateboard went near” her head, which led her to throw Charleston’s board into the river.
