5 days ago, jacky_cui_ 崔永熙, one of the best prospects from 🇨🇳 China playing in the NBA summer league, reached out to me about defense. We talked about defensive footwork and the jrue_holiday11 defense bag that I’ve been building into my own. My defense has been a 2 year process (ongoing) but I knew I could distill and share with him some of the things I’ve learned, because I lived it. So I bought my ticket and flew in to NY to work with him before he heads to Portland before summer league. Full court, half court, close out defense. We made progress. He’s got all the physical tools to be a great player, but more importantly he’s got the mindset and work ethic to keep getting better. A mission of mine is helping develop the next generation of top Asian prospects make the NBA / WNBA. But I know the best way to show what I can do is through example, so I’m gonna keep going, and as I get better, so will the opportunities. 加油 Jacky，我们都在支持你。进步不能停！ #basketball #nba #defense #jrueholida...
