50k/31 miles done💪. Today is my amputation anniversary and the day I became cancer free, woohoo. Felt good celebrating it with a good long run. A little fun fact about the cancer I had Ewing's sarcoma is a cancerous bone tumor often affecting children and young adults. It gets its name from Dr. James Ewing, the doctor who first described the tumor in the 1920s. Ewing's sarcoma may arise anywhere in the body, but it usually originates in the long bones of the arms and legs, the pelvis, or the chest. Mine was in my leg hence the leg amputation. It is extremely rare with fewer than a 1000 cases in the US a year. #icandohardthings #sarcoma
