"Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed, and rearranged to relocate us to where we are meant to be" Today is my amputation anniversary and why celebrate it? Because I am alive, I kicked cancers butt and I've found this incredible thing called running, which had I not lost my leg I might not have started doing. My journey has been filled with lows but also so many highs. My kids often ask me if I wish I still had my leg and yes, of course I do, but I have also accepted who I am now and I am so incredibly grateful for this journey I'm on.😊 I also get to run in some incredible places.
