One of the things I absolutely love about trail running is the people you meet along the way. It's a wonderful supportive community that absolutely anyone can join, no matter your pace, your age or your disability. I had the priviledge of running most of stage 2 of transrockiesrun_official with the two men in this photo. Doug who is 80 years old and Gordy who is 75 years old and they both absolutely crushed it out on the trails. Yes that is Western States 100 legend Gordy Ainsleigh. They both completed all 6 Days of TransRockies stage race, which covered 120 miles/193km with 20000ft gain. How incredibly inspiring is that.
