"Every expert was once a beginner." . . Navigating my way down the very steep downhill at Saturdays #verticalmilechallenge. This is definitely one of the funniest race photo I have. What was I doing🤦‍♀️. Clearly downhill running on trails isn't my strong point yet. To be fair though, I did run the race on a blade I hadn't tested on trails yet so I wasn't totally sure how it would perform. I clearly have trust issues🤣. . . I'm a really strong downhill runner when I run roads but put me on trails and I become a wimp. Definately something I'm working on because when I return to this race next year I want to be flying down those hills. Fun fact about this totally insane 16 mile trail race, out of the 184 finishes only 49 were female. I'm proud to be one of them💪 . . Are you a good downhill runner?
