I'm so grateful for so many things in my life and one of those things are the amazing people I've met here on IG. This photo was taken yesterday after a trail run with my wonderful friend joe_the_runner . Joe is the race director for the triple_lakes_trail_race 40 Miler I'm doing in 3 weeks time. I met Joe via IG after I messaged him for info about the trail race a few months ago. Before signing up for the race I wanted to find out how the course would be for my blade. Joe had run this race last year so I thought he would be the best person to ask. I'm so grateful for him, because he has been amazing in supporting my ultra journey. Yesterday was the first time I actually met Joe in person and to be honest, it felt like I had known him for a very long time. He offered to take me on part of the tricky parts of the 40 miler race course so I could see how my blade handles. It did pretty well and I'm feeling confident for the race.
