How cool is this. My amazing PT Lee Welch & Erin byoungpt & therunningpts offered to do a 3d gait analysis on me. In the two years that I've been running I've never had my running gait analyzed so this was super exciting. Due to not having a left foot and ankle I knew my form would be compromised somewhere. This analysis really takes you apart and I was super nervous as to what it would find. My results weren't to bad and I stacked up pretty well against the baseline😉. What the report did find was that my right hip totally collapse as a way to compensate for my left side. So can it be fixed? Absolutely. I will never have a perfect form due to running with a blade but I can definately make improvements. . . The trick is to make improvements but not compromise the rest of my running form. I definitely need to strengthen my hips. A lot of hip flexor and hamstring drills for me😊. This is certainly going to help for my Ultra in October😊 . .
