This is such a hard post to do. Unfortunately Boston was just not my race. The wind and rain was too much for my body to handle. At Mile 15.5 I was pulled off by a medic due to hyperthemia. I was stumbling and my body wouldn't stop shaking. It was hard yesterday when strangers were congratulating me because they assumed I had finished. I just smiled and said thanks, because I was to embarrassed to say I actually didn't finish. So today I'm holding my head up high and telling everyone "yes, unfortunately I didn't finish my first Boston", but I still worked my butt off. I made it to the start line in seriously awful conditions and kept pushing until my body decided it had enough. I will be back and definately not going to let one failed race define me.
