Before heading out on the water designate a sober boat operator, verify safety equipment, lights and anchor are functioning, share your float plan with friends or family on land, and check the weather. 🛥☀️While on the water, ensure each person on board has a properly fitting life jacket, hydrates with water, and frequently applies sunscreen. Boat operators are reminded to pay attention to surroundings and tide changes, and adhere to 'no wake' and 'slow speed' areas.
