Would you trek through the rain, miles away from center city just for this shot? 👀🛝 We were exhausted during one of our last days in Japan but didn’t want to leave without attempting to find this staircase! It was rainy, we had to travel another 45 minutes past our hotel, and it was dark. But if you’re with the right people, time passes by so quickly and you almost forget about everything else I’ve just mentioned to get to the destination. andytorres_a, makeetz & I weren’t sure if we were going to find this spot but with the help of a lot of internet stalking and Makito’s fluency in Japan, we got the shots we were hoping for. Sometimes I think we are a littttle crazy for doing going out of our way for the shot but it’s the people and the journey that make finding the destination that much more fun.
