@5chay
I made this reel to give y'all an idea of what goes on in my mind when I'm working live event videography... hopefully this helps: Since I'm not doing the live production aspect of the event (If I were, I'd have to make virtually every moment I'm recording "useable."), I'm able to take more transition time and get more shot variety when I'm filming. I'm at liberty to try more things out, take bigger risks, and have more "fun" with my footage. However, this DOESN'T mean I can move slow. At times, I may ONLY have one song or performance to get what I need. So, when I get the shot I need, I am ALREADY thinking of where I can move the camera next to get my next shot. Am I going to zoom in more? Zoom out more? Stand up to get different height, crouch for lower angles? This is all going through my head. Thankfully, I knew the guy who was going to be editing this project, and I understand how he thinks/the type of footage he looks for. So, I was able to shoot for an edit that I had in mind...
