I've been here... we all have. As a younger professional, it is absolutely acceptable to take lower rates for jobs that you're passionate about. HOWEVER There is a very large difference between a passion piece and a job. If you're establishing yourself as someone who can get pushed around and negotiated with, you'll never break through your price barriers... especially with those same returning clients.
