real talk : I don’t know how to do social media in the way that the modern music industry demands it. I smile. I try. Lord I try. But it’s not at all connected to the heart that put me on this path. I literally posted something about needing to transition out of this. Start a farm? I dunno. Anything. And a week later. This happened. This isn’t fishing for something beyond saying - it’s wild out there for artists of every level. I’m lucky. But I’m also sick and tired of the whole industry catering to the trivial vitality of the internet. Fans of music - you can demand something different by engaging with artists and musicians you like but don’t have the secret internet sauce It’s ok to make your own communities on this internet.
