Scene Queen has told us about why she is so excited to kick off the Summer School US Tour: “I’m friends with all these people, but I’m also an actual fan of every band on this tour. It’s so special to be able to tour with people that not only do you idolise, but also carry the same values as you. I don’t have to worry about my fans in this crowd because there are so many women, queer people, and people of colour on this lineup. I’ve always said that I don’t want to go on a tour that isn’t at least 50 per cent women or queer people because that feels like a failed opportunity to help grow the community that I am so proud of.
