This is the Medical Assisting Program at Emily Griffith Technical College. Our program offers hands-on learning skills and performs both administrative/clinical duties including maintaining patient records, coding insurance forms, arranging hospital admissions and laboratory services, taking medical histories, collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, and taking vital signs! As a potential Medical Assisting student, you'll complete a 180-hour clinical internship in a real-world medical setting such as a doctor's office or ambulatory care center to prepare for this in-demand career.
