On Friday, July 5, 2024, the Kansas City Royals called up #MinesBSB alum Walter Pennington to the big-league roster - the first Oredigger to make “The Show” in over a century.
Later on Friday night, Walter made his MLB debut at Coors Field in Denver where he grew up watching the Colorado Rockies. He was flawless in 0.2 IP including a strikeout of his very first batter. #HelluvaEngineer
