Today I’m thankful for the inspiration from those who have raced the arhighcountryrace. I went out to get a little hour road ride in before heading to feast with family. I thought I had a break in the rain. I did not. It was also colder than expected and the wind was blowing pretty good. . But I was reminded of the stories from the high country about the rain this year. Race winner scottilechuga rode 17 hours in the rain on her final push home. Puts my 22-mile loop in perspective.
