#FacultyFeature: The Office of the Provost has announced rank and status changes for several faculty for the upcoming academic year, and three faculty members have been awarded tenure: Dr. Worth Hayes- associate professor and Avalon Humanities and Social Sciences Endowed Chair in the Africana Studies and History Department, Dr. Marisela Martinez-Cola- assistant professor in the sociology department (also promoted to associate professor), and Dr. Derrick Brooms- professor and executive director of the Black Men's Research Institute in the Africana Studies and History department.⁠ ⁠ All tenure, promotion, and conversion decisions become effective August 1, 2024.⁠ ⁠ #Morehouse #MorehouseCollege
