Yesterday, DNP student Kevin Cho Tipton hosted U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy during the planting of a mango tree in a Miami-area community garden. Tipton organized the tree planting in recognition of Murthy and his family for their health care contributions to the area. Faculty members Drs. Rene Love and Lakeshia Cousin attended the event in support of Tipton and his leadership.
