This trip has been an experience of a lifetime. I am so thankful to have been invited to represent my country, as well as all other athletes from around the world at this g7 summit. I want to extend my thank you to FIG president Watanabe for the invitation. The experiences ensured that I was able to take in and learn Japanese culture. I met the prime minister of Japan, the mayor of Hiroshima, and the governor of Hiroshima. I toured the Hiroshima memorial museum, went to our floral tribute ceremony, explored Miyajima Island, interacted with school Children and tried traditional Japanese food… all alongside some of the best gymnasts ever from around the world! It has truly been an honour. Our hope is to show the world how sport has the power to create amazing friendships, unify people together for important causes, and share the message that everything is better with peace 🤍 #g7gymnastics #fig #peace
