The final day of competition was the 84kg, 84+kg and 120+kg classes. In the 84kg class, Daria Rusanenko, still a junior, extended her own world record in squat with an impressive 278kg. 3 time world champion Rhaea Stinn jumped into prominence on bench, as she always does. She missed her opener though and ended up with “only” 202.5kg. It was easily enough for the gold medal and to get her into the lead.
