Stars of The World Games 2022 are swapping Birmingham, Alabama for Birmingham, UK to take part in the Arnold Sports Festival UK. Kjell Bakkelund of Norway took the gold medal in Alabama earlier this month, after taking his 4th open world title in Stavanger last year. He is the 74kg class deadlift world record holder in both classic and equipped and he leads the nomination in the battle for the 2,000 euro 1st prize. He will have to contend with home nation hero, Tony Cliffe, the first Brit in nearly 30 years to bring a medal back from The World Games. Tony will be on home turf - can he take the fight to Kjell for first place?
