The Return of Anatolii Novopismennyi! Team Ukraine will be competing classic and equipped, full power and bench only at The Arnold Sports Festival UK in September. Anatolii Novopismennyi has been a dominant force in classic powerlifting for years. He was junior world champion back in 2016 and back to back open world champion in 2019 and 2021, also picking up the best lifter award at world 2021. He has current world records in squat and total in two weight classes and two age classes. Nominated in second place so far, he is still one of the biggest contenders for the 3,000 Euro first place prize money.
